Keith Long has promised that his Bohemians side will not give an easy ride to Chelsea as their new manager takes charge of the Blues for the first time tonight in Dublin.

Frank Lampard's reign as Chelsea boss kicks off with a friendly against Bohs at Dalymount Park, tickets for the 3,640-capacity ground sold out last week.

The bare-looking squad initially announced by the Blues was padded out when players like N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Ross Barkley were added for their training camp in Ireland, which includes those friendly games.

"It's a good game for the club, a chance to get some revenue in, but we want to put on a good show," says manager Long.

"The fact that we don't have a league game next weekend due to the European fixtures means we can put out a strong side and I'd like to give them a decent game."

Gypsies man Danny Mandroiu was celebrating this week as he was named as the June player of the month by the SSE Airtricity SWAI.
